What ever happened to “independence’?
What ever happened to “individualism”?
Just because you “qualify”, does this mean you intend to, live on the Government’s largess?.... ( or the taxpayers largess?)
Do you qualify for financial aid to education?….
Do you qualify for welfare?…..
Do you qualify for all sorts of government aid?….
How about not leaning on government…. Not trying to qualify!
Whatever happened to the stigma for accepting help? … (for the individual struggle?)
Does price overcome stigma?
Government rules vs. Individual excess? ….Which “badness” should prevail? Should the abuse of the system be normal or expected? How would you monitor the abuse?
Certain taxes are necessary!.....(roads, welfare, schools, police and fire, retirement, National protection)
What are the legitimate “independent” people dependant on?.... (roads, schools, police and fire, military , retirement..)
Is this subject too difficult to address or are the consequences for solution too awkward constitutionally for address? Will we continue to live in limbo? Will abuse simply be expected and tolerated?
